It’s here! The 19th Annual Portsmouth Holiday Arts Tour starts tonight! Studios are open tonight 5pm through 8pm and tomorrow and Sunday, 10-5. Come meet your local artists in their studios, catch a demo and start your holiday shopping! Don’t forget to grab your “Studio Checkpoint Pass” at the first studio you visit! The pass, when initialed at each studio and turned in at your last stop, is your ticket in our free raffle. And last but not lest we arrive at Studio #9! Peter Happny - blacksmithing and Lisa Grey - prints & textile collage. Peter will be demonstrating hand forged ironwork and Lisa will be demonstrating the art of collage throughout the weekend. New artists on the tour this year are Lucinda and Bill Clarke in studio #8. Both artists are plein air painters and craftsmen. Their home is a showcase for Bill's hand-crafted furniture and paintings, and Lucinda's artwork and beautiful hand-cut original designs.
